Pink Glitter Gradient

Too early to start the Valentine's Day manis? Not for me!! I used Color Club Lazer Pink as the tip color and then did 4 different layers of Sinful Pinky Glitter in a gradient from the tips to the base of my nails. I wish my nails weren't so stained and that the glitter was a bit more opaque. I didn't turn out exactly how I wanted so I might have to try this again. Yay for Valentine's Day manis!!

It's a warm day in So Cal :0)

  9. I have a question, how do you keep you nailbeds moisturized? I've always had problems with mine being really dry and it messes up the way my nails look. :(

  10. @KellyThanks :) I really love gradients. They're really pretty, super simple, and are easy peasy lemon squeezy

  11. @JaneWell during the winter my hands, fingers, and cuticles get really, really dry.. especially since I use 100% acetone almost every single day. I try to moisturize a lot.. but it has to be good, thick moisturizing lotion. I love me some Bath and Body works lotion because of the scents, but because of their lack or really moisturizing, those lotions just don't cut it! Right now the 2 thick lotions I use are Wallgreens bands (Lubriderm knock-off) Advance Skin Therapy For Extra-Dry Skin lotion (pink label and pump) and a body cream from The Body Show. Also sometimes before bed I mix 1/2 lotion and 1/2 Bag Balm (because it's way too greasy when used alone) and rub on my hands. Also Lush Lemony Flutter on my cuticles really helps to moisturize.. though I must be honest, I don't remember to use it very often.. maybe once every few days if I'm lucky. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!!

  12. @Dori thanks for the advice! I will definitely try doing that. I guess I've been using the wrong lotions and not moisturizing enough. lol

  13. @JaneYou're welcome. Don't get me wrong.. I use BBW lotion ALL the time but when my hands really feel like they need a good moisturizing, I use the thick stuff :)
