Maybelline Goody Plum Drop

Purples never usually capture well on camera but this one came out pretty accurate. Maybelline Goody Plum Drop was a part of last year's Sweet Thing Spring collection. I. love. this. color. I am by no means, a purple polish fan. Purple and green are actually my very least favorite polish colors (I almost dislike them) so it takes quite a bit for a purple or green polish to catch me eye. And for me to love a purple polish?! Almost unheard of.. I think there's about *thinks* three purple polishes that I love, that I can think of off the top of my head. Anyway, this one is perfect for Spring and I think it's fits quite well for Valentine's Day too. Purple for Valentines Day? Sure, why not. I'm pretty sure all the colors in this collection were cremes, and at first glace this one looks like a creme too. Don't be fooled, there's shimmer in there! Click the picture to view full size. Can you see it? It's barely noticeable unless you're looking for it but there's a slight silver shimmer in Goody Plum Drop. Very pretty. This one applied pretty well except it was a teensey-tiny bit stringy though I can't complain because Minty (from the same collection) is much more strong in application. This was two coats.

Hope you have a fantastic Saturday :0)

  1. I love this purple. I wish I had gotten it when it came out. I've heard a few people find it at Ross, so I think I'll have a look!

  3. @StardustStephanieI got this at Wallgreens last Spring but I did see it again in a 5 pack a few weeks back at Ross. I ended up getting on of the 5 packs w/ 3 Mintys (even though I already had one lol),Pink Sophistication, and Bubble Pink. You should check out Ross, you might get lucky!!
