Summertime Look

Good morning! So today I'm going to do another summer look but this time I'm going to show you an all over look including eyes, cheeks, and lips.
For my eyes I used Bare Escentuals Kiko on the inner eye and Bare Escentuals Fantasy on the outter eye and crease. Kiko is a shimmery gold yellow. It looks even more yellow in real life in the pot but on the eye it really shows up a very pretty golden color. Fantasy is a gorgeous shimmery copper color that has golden and rose undertones. Both of these colors were purchased at the BE outlet store, Fantasy as an individual full size and Kiko as a mini in a four-piece eye shadow set. I'm not sure how easily these can be found since they're not sold in normal BE boutiques but you might be able to find them online or at an outlet if you're lucky enough to live close to one.
For my cheeks I used BE Warmth (far left), then A Little Sun (far right), and lastly Sun-Kissed (middle). Warmth is a warm reddish brown and adds a bit of natural bronzed color to my cheeks without looking too makeup-y or over the top. Warmth is also the default BE cheek color and comes in every starter kit and is easily found anywhere that sells BE products. A Little Sun is a sparkly orangey bronze color. I got a sample of this (shown here) at my local BE boutique because I wanted to try some new cheek colors for the summer looks. I've had this sample for six months, use it all the time, and there's barely a dig in my usage. This stuff last forever! It's a gorgeous bronze that makes you look like you've been outside at the beach all day. The shimmer in this is very obvious in the pot but only shows as a very slight glow/shimmer on the cheeks which I like a lot. A Little Sun can be found at any BE boutique or Sephora store. Sun-Kissed is a peachy coral color with a hint of silvery shimmer. This color reminds me of the color of Patrick in Sponge Bob Square Pants. Like A Little Sun, the shimmer shows up in the pot but not so much on the cheek. Sun-Kissed is pretty pigmented and shows up peachy coral on the cheeks and gives a fresh faced glow look. Love it! I got Sun-Kissed in a give away at my local BE boutique during one of their sales, I looked on their site and was not able to find it listed so I'm not sure if you're able to purchase this or not at regular BE boutiques. If you are able to find this though, grab it! it's so, so, so gorgeous and it's perfect for a summer glow. Love it!
Now for the lips, I got the new Buxom Babes Rock Stars lip gloss kit from my amazing brother for Christmas and the first of the glosses I decided to give a try is Tonya.
OH. EM. GEE. Are you seeing this!?!? Look at how pink that is! If OPI Pink Me I'm Good turned into a lip gloss, this would be it! Tonya is a heart stopingly gorgeous warm, watermelon pink lip gloss packed with tons of warm gold and pink shimmer. I can't even tell you guys how much I love this gloss. This was sold in normal BE boutiques during the holiday season and I think it still might be available at boutiques, on clearance if you're lucky!
Now for the all over look?!
Yup, looks like summer to me! Good thing too since it's 74 outside :0)

Now to go soak up some Viatamin D!

Is It Summer Yet?

Oh em gee, today was a gorgeous day. It was actually hot outside.. 82!! Yes, you read the right! 82!!! In January!! So in the summer I don;t like to wear heavy makeup cause it's hot and humid and then I get sweaty and I hate feeling cakey or like my makeup looks heavy and gross and so today I did a light summery look similar to what I wear most days in the summer. Golden toned eyeshadow applied with a fluffy brush if my favorite look to wear in the summer. This is Bare Escentuals Captivate on the inner eye and Bare Escentuals Camel on the outter eye. Both colors are gorgeous, sparkly golden caramel colors but Captivate is a bit lighter and more gold than Captivate. The mascara I'm wearing is the new Flawless Definition Volumizing mascara by BE. I only used one coat of mascara because I was going for a lighter more natural look but usually I do two coats of mascara. This mascara doesn't look very volumizing to me. Maybe it would look more volumized and dramatic with two coats. It's more natural looking then I normally like (I prefer dark, thick, long, dramatic eyelashes like I get with Maybelline The Falsies the best) but I do like it for this look. Overall, LOVE the eye shadows and I like the mascara okay.

A Surprise Bloom

Good morning! today I'm sharing with you some of the new pretty purple Bare Escentual eye shadows I got for Christmas.  For the inner eye I used BE Surprise, the outter eye BE Bloom, and the highlighter is BE Believe. Surprise is an almost periwinkle purple, it's got a cornflower blue shimmer to it, yet it's still purple. Very, very unique and pretty. Bloom is a medium-light purple, perfect for Spring and very shimmery. Both these eye colors are very buildable which I like. Believe is a while shimmer eye shadow the has a ton of light blue shimmer. Mostly, the white doesn't show, it just looks like an iridescent nude with the gorgeous blue shimmer. Surprise was from a kit at the BE outlet store so I'm not sure how easily found it is, Bloom is in the core line at all BE boutiques, and Believe was released originally to raise money for Autism about a year and a half ago but is now a part of the core line.

Summer Roots

Mornin' ya'll! Aren't Saturdays the best?! I wish it were Saturday everyday. I haven't done a makeup look in a while and today I'm sharing a few Bare Escentuals eye shadows and a lip gloss.
I used BE Summer for the inner eye and BE Root for the outter eye. Summer is a golden sand color with gold shimmer. Root is a dark mud brown with the same golden shimmer as Summer. Both these eye shadows work best when patted on rather then brushed on or rubbed in.. when it's rubbed in the gorgeous gold shimmer glitter almost completely disappears. Since you sorta have to smudge in order to blend, I went back after I finished blending and patted on some extra eye shadow so that the golden shimmer glitter would be much more obvious.
Zena is a light pink lip gloss with very subtle and small light pink shimmer. It's pretty and pretty neutral on my skin tone, however, it's not very unique compared to other (especially other BE) lip glosses. My mom gave this lip gloss to me for Christmas. She got it in a kit from the BE outlet so I'm not too sure how hard or easy it is to find. The eye shadows however are sold at all BE boutiques.
Also used were Maybelline Falsies mascara in Black, Revlon Color Stay eyeliner in Black, BE eyebrow powder in Dark Blond/Medium Brown.

Bare Escentuals Holly

Finally the last of the four Bare Escentuals Winter Escapades Buxom Babes. This is Holly. I'm gonna start out by saying that this one is much prettier in real life than in my picture, again my camera hates red and this just wouldn't  photograph and bright and vibrant as it is in real life. Holly is a gorgeous shimmery red gloss. As you can see, there's bits of red glitter which makes this gloss super unique. Holly isn't really sheer in my opinion, I know my the pictures it looks a bit natural but since I am a girl who only likes nude, natural looking lips on a normal occasion, this one was pretty extreme to me. It definitely looks like a bright cherry red to me when I look at myself in the mirror. Very pretty and festive for the holiday but since color on my lips scares me this is my least favorite of the four. However, for people who love red lips, I can really see Holly being a winner. This was only one thin coat of gloss one me but the color is very buildable and with a thicker coat or two coats, this is definitely a bright pop of red. Again, I'm not a red lips kinda girl but even for me, especially for the holiday season, Holly is a winner!

Bare Escentuals Hope

Three down, one to go. Hope is a clear gloss jam-packed with tiny opalescent white flakie type glitter that shines a light pink. This seriously looks like crushed opal on the lips.. it's so Wintery and angelic looking, I love it! Also, these glosses seem to not stay wet for long. It seems like 10 minutes or so after application your lips feel like almost all the gloss has worn off. However, the shimmer and color stays on for hours, it's just the wetness and stickyness that wears off quickly. I like this cause I hate having my lips feel sticky yet last night when I looked in the mirror, almost 10 hours after I applied the lipgloss, I could still see a ton of shimmer on my lips. Love these glosses.. they last on the lips for forever!

Bare Escentuals Joy

More from the Winter Escapades Buxom Babes! Today I'm showing you Joy as well as Black Pearl and Enlightening eye shadows from Bare Escentuals
For my skin tone, Joy is the more neutral and natural shade out of the four glosses. It's a warm light honey with tons of silver micro-shimmer.

For my eyes I used Black Ice for the inner eye, Enlightening for the outter eye, and Minx barely just around the outter corners of my eye and beneath my lower lash line on the outter edge.
And the eyes and the lips together..
And just for the record, Kellie asked in a comment (that I just read, sorry!!) for a previous beauty review, what my nationality is. Well since she probably won't see that I just commented back, and since a few of you may be wondering the same thing (probably not, but I'll just amuse myself and think I'm special lol) I thought I would just give you the facts for the record. I'm white. Exciting right?! What kind of white specifically you ask? Well mostly Polish, German, British, Czech but there's some Irish and I believe some Swedish thrown in there somewhere. :0)

Have a lovely Wednesday!

Sex Kitten w/ Passion

Today I'm sharing with you my look of the day. I used Bare Escentuals Passion (inner eye) and Sex Kitten (outter eye) as well as Cashmere (crease blending) and Queen Phyllis (eyebrow highlighter).
For my lips I used Bare Escentuals Merry which came in a minis set called Winter Escapades Buxom Babes.
Merry is a fairly opaque bronze with tons of iridescent micro-shimmer and copper glitter in it.
And the whole look altogether..

:0)
